Volunteer Programs for All Ages at Kingman Museum

At Kingman Museum, we are committed to engaging our community through hands-on learning and meaningful involvement. Starting in 2025 and beyond, we are expanding our youth and adult volunteer programs, providing opportunities for individuals of all ages to support our mission in natural history, science, and culture.

Youth and Adult Volunteer Opportunities Whether you’re a student eager to learn about museum work or an adult passionate about conservation, history, or education, we offer a variety of volunteer roles:

• Collections and Curatorial Support: Help us manage and maintain our exhibits and collections.
• Education Assistants: Work with our team to deliver engaging educational programs to students of all ages.
• Community Outreach: Join us in spreading the word about Kingman Museum’s programs and events through local outreach.

Volunteers will receive training in museum operations, exhibit curation, and educational programming, providing an enriching experience for all involved.

Work-Study Program for Higher Education As part of our efforts to support the next generation of museum professionals, we are introducing a work-study program in collaboration with local higher education institutions. Students will gain hands-on experience in museum studies, collections management, research, and educational outreach, while earning academic credit. This is an excellent opportunity for students to apply their studies in a real-world setting and build valuable skills for their future careers.

Eddie Brigham and the Kingman Adventure Club for Small Children For our youngest explorers, we are excited to introduce Eddie Brigham and the Kingman Adventure Club. This fun, interactive program will inspire curiosity and learning through age-appropriate activities, storytelling, and adventures based on the popular Eddie Brigham series. Children will have the opportunity to earn badges, participate in special events, and become honorary members of the Kingman Explorers Club, fostering a lifelong love of discovery.
